Willamette Valley Government Affairs Director

​

Willamette Valley MLS serves Marion, Polk, Linn and Benton counties – which include a number of communities that are geographically, individually, and politically diverse.

​

Local governments make decisions that can greatly impact the lives of real estate practitioners and the clients they serve.  That's why WVMLS commits 75% of the funds necessary to contract a Government Affairs Director to be our eyes and ears in local governments in the Willamette Valley.  The three local REALTOR® organizations as well as the entire WVMLS membership benefit from her efforts on our behalf.

The Government Affairs Director encourages our members to become more involved in the government affairs process by:

​

·         Signing up for Voter Voice to receive updates from your Capitol lobbyist

·         Serving on your local Government Affairs Committee

·         Contributing to your REALTOR® organizations' PAC

·         Attend the Willamette Valley Government Affairs Committee meeting 

 

Held quarterly via Zoom.  All WVMLS members are welcome to attend.  Feel free to contact Selina for specific dates & times!
